Reimagining Education

Missouri Top Advocates

Parents across the state are demanding better educational options (see many of their stories here) but some go above and beyond in the fight for school choice and CEAM wants to recognize them here.

Becki Uccello

Becki Uccello is a public school teacher (24 years and counting), wife (to her leading supporter), and mom (to a son, a daughter, and one on the way via international adoption).  She advocates for inclusion and for kids with disabilities.  Mrs. Uccello resides in Springfield, Missouri.

Johnnie Calloway

From growing up living in a homeless shelter to now giving his kids the childhood he only ever dreamed of, Johnnie Calloway’s experiences both good and bad have led him to take control of his life to have a bigger say in not only his but now the outcomes of that of his children. He has for the majority of his adult life, gave his efforts to the IT space – most recently working in the Technology Department at the private school his kids attended. When he isn’t taking apart or fixing gadgets, you could find him at the closest gym or basketball court – working out, training or coaching or maybe reading another book to add to his repertoire of knowledge.
