CEAM is launching its annual student contest later this month and we are super excited to hear what students will have to say this year after experiencing so much upheaval in the educational world.
This year we are asking students to build from their experiences with a wide range of learning options and environments during the pandemic to imagine what school will look like in the year 2030.
This year’s contest is open to all Missouri students in grades 5 through 12, with entries being divided into middle school and high school levels.
Students can enter the contest by submitting a: video, essay, or 2-d piece of art that answers the question:
“If you were a school principal in the year 2030 what would your school look like?”
Students can write an essay describing their school, record a video speech as if they are the school principal, draw building design plans, create a brochure, generate a computer image of their future school, or any other form of imaginative entry that meets the criteria for the competition. The materials and format for your submission and your vision for your school are limitless! Get creative and think outside of the box.
The contest will run from Monday, Aug. 24th – Thursday, Dec. 31st and winners in both age groups will receive cash prizes:
