BAM Contracting is a specialty construction contractor and full-service carpentry company performing residential, commercial and institutional work. Brian started BAM in 1998 and currently employs a workforce of 100+ skilled union tradespersons. BAM is based in St. Louis and performs work in Metropolitan St. Louis and Kansas City, Missouri, and Illinois. BAM’s client list includes every prominent General Contracting firm in the region and BAM is recognized as a top-tier subcontractor in St. Louis having worked on some of its highest profile projects. Prior to starting BAM, Brian served in several senior-level development positions for the City of St. Louis including Director of Community Development and Director of Business Development.
Brian works hard to be a good citizen of the region and remains committed to church, civic and charitable activities. Brian believes that it is imperative to find new and effective ways to educate and prepare students in underperforming urban school districts. Originally from California, Brian is an unabashed booster of his adopted city and region. Earlier this year he served as Co-Chair of the Economic Development Taskforce for Better Together. Brian was recently appointed to the Missouri Botanical Sub-District Board. Brian is active with the Associated General Contractors (AGC) in St. Louis and Kansas City, and the St Louis Homebuilders Association (HBA).
Brian and his wife Nina live in the Tower Grove East neighborhood of the City with their son and daughter who is a senior at Rockhurst University. Brian’s oldest son is a City police officer who flies with the Metropolitan Aviation unit.
